Confession: I’m not a fan of sports. The only year I was ever truly invested in the Super Bowl was the year I wanted the Patriots to lose so Chris Evans would visit kids in the hospital in full Captain America attire.

That being said, I watch the Super Bowl every year for one reason: an excuse to eat. I know, doesn’t exactly sound like the most mentally healthy mindset. I talk about stumbling blocks, and looking forward to food as the center-point of an event is one of the biggest ones for me. I mean, I suppose I could just not watch the Super Bowl and have a perfectly normal Sunday evening, but there is something fun about participating in cultural events like this.

That being said, there’s no reason not to enjoy good Super Bowl snacks, especially when you can work it in with a healthy nutrition plan. I’ve rounded up 20 awesome recipes for the Super Bowl that can fit my macro and calorie targets, and they can fit yours too!
