Marvel announced that Avengers: Endgame will have a runtime of 3 hours and 2 minutes. The epic finds itself in a league which includes films like Doctor Zhivago, Ghandi, Dances with Wolves, The Right Stuff, and Titanic. (Were you around when Titanic came out on two VHS tapes?) So, that pretty much eliminates any chance of me getting a soda at the theatre.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you know that Endgame is the eagerly anticipated sequel to Infinity War. If you’re anything like me and my friends, you’re using this time to refresh yourself on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Not counting Endgame, the current runtime for the entire MCU is 44 hours and 58 minutes. That’s non-stop. No bathroom or snack-breaks. So, instead of spending 2 full days of your life catching up on the movies, let me save you a little time.
